We previously posted here that “The Cave,” a convenience store, would be available. Sorry, our mistake, it will NOT be open. It is closed for the summer.

WEDNESDAY EVENING BANQUET

Since the Seattle Raging Grannies consider all grans somewhat ‘classy’ we are planning a lovely sit down dinner for our first dinner together with china, silverware and all the elegant trappings!!! We will be dining in the Campion Ballroom, which is in the same building as our housing. And, yes, there will be wine at a cash bar. The menu will be a choice between a vegan and a chicken meal. Please make your selection on the registration form.

MEALS DURING THE UNCON

Grans will receive a meal card at registration. This meal card can be used for all meals on campus during the UnCon, at the Cherry Street Market, which is located on the second floor (elevator located near stairs) of the Student Center. The café is lovely and can handle special food requests. We previously mentioned that there are several Bistros located on campus, but they will NOT be open, the are closed for the summer. Sorry, our mistake. Please access the following link if you wish to know more about the menu/food service on campus: http://su.cafebonappetit.com/

We are hoping that all of the wonderful Grannie energy, love and concerns come together at the UnCon and a good time is had by all!

MEMORIAL SERVICES

The Corvallis Grans have graciously offered to lead the memorial services for our recently departed Grans.  In order to send any information for a Gran that you would like to honor, the contact email addresses are on the Registration Form.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE FUND

The Raging Grannies maintain a TRAVEL ASSISTANCE FUND to make it possible to have representation at our UnCons from gaggles far and wide. In the past funds for this fund were raised from the sale of Grannie CD and T-Shirts, etc., and proceeds from our last UnCon. This time we are requesting that each gaggle aim to contribute $100.00 US/Canadian to the Travel Assistance Fund. These funds belong to you and to all of us. The name and address to send your contribution is on the Registration Form.
