The Cubans are annoying
Washington, D.C.

They all drink rum and cola
And eat too many beans.
They’d rather dance the cha cha

We Canadians are suspect:
We import Cuban rum.
We drink it in our igloos.
Go south for Cuban sun;
We play our football funny.
Don’t spell the American way,
And we can’t end our sentences
Unless we end with “eh?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helms-Burton Act may threaten us
Against all Cuban trade.
But we’re a sovereign country.
And won’t join their Crusade.
What right have the Americans
To tell us what to do?
We’ll holiday in Cuba
